Welcome to a beer chronicle of the most ridiculous sort - A man with a completely impractical dream, driving it out of dark
shadows into a hazy reality. It is a tale of pouring thousands of hours and dollars into an unnecessary something that does
little to nothing to improve life or humanity.
I am referring to my development, or at least attempt thereof, of a digital or computer-controlled home brewery system.
Who I am gives significant light to why this dream has become obsession for me, and whydespite being wholly unqualified I feel that is not in the least way a hinderance. It is mostly a challenge to myself, a means for me to prove my worth, and ultimately shine as a monument to my pride and vanity.
Will all this technology create better beer? Probably not. If anything, I suspect it will most likely exact a short term price from my batch qualities, however I do hope in the long run it will build the foundation for more consistent and better brews.
